Want to continue your exploration of 19th-century Paris after the talk? Join Violaine to dive deeper into the world of the Impressionists. Who were they, and how did they revolutionize painting and the arts? In this 3-session workshop, we will trace the history of the movement — from the political upheavals of Second Empire France to the birth of modern art — while building the language skills to talk about Impressionist paintings with confidence. By the end of the workshop, you'll be able to describe a painting's subject, analyze its forms and techniques, and offer a confident commentary — entirely in French!  All levels welcome..
