Position 1: Event Organizer (Part-time)
Position Overview
As our Event Organizer, you
will support the planning and execution of the Alliance Française de Dallas’s major special events. You will assist with event
preparation, develop vendor outreach strategies, coordinate with suppliers and service providers, and support operational logistics while
contributing to sponsorship initiatives for major special events.
This flexible, part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, negotiation, problem-solving,
and event coordination.
Responsibilities

Develop strategies to identify, approach, and engage potential vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Research, contact, and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Build and maintain a network of reliable vendors and event service providers.
- Request quotes, compare proposals, and assist in vendor selection.

Research and identify sponsorship opportunities for the Alliance Française de Dallas’s major special
events.
- Support event logistics before, during, and after events.

Maintain organized records of vendor contacts, sponsorship outreach, and event planning activities.

Work closely with the Communications Manager to support the successful planning and execution of events.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Experience in event planning, vendor management, business development or nonprofit organizations is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for cultural events and community engagement.
- French language skills are a plus but not required.

Position 2: French as a second language teacher
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging FLE lessons tailored to students’ needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and interactive classroom environment.
- Organize cultural activities to enhance language learning.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to improve curriculum and student outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in English and French.
We are looking for teachers available in the evenings and/or on Saturdays.
