Join the Alliance Française of Dallas for an evening of music, magic, and French-inspired sounds with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra!
Under the direction of Fabio Luisi, the program takes us from Mozart’s elegant “Paris” Symphony to the shimmering waves of Debussy’s La mer, with a DSO premiere of Samy Moussa’s Adrano and Dukas’ beloved The Sorcerer’s Apprentice — famously immortalized by Mickey Mouse in Disney’s Fantasia.

Debussy’s La mer brings the sea to life through three shimmering musical portraits of waves, storms, and sunlight. Violinist Karen Gomyo returns to the DSO to perform Moussa’s Adrano, inspired by ancient rituals associated with Adranus, the Sicilian god of fire.
