The DELF Junior A1 (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) is an official French language certification
issued by the French Ministry of Education. It is designed for young learners at a beginner level. The
exam assesses listening, reading, writing, and speaking at the A1 level of the CEFR, certifying the
ability to understand and use basic French in everyday school and social situations. It mainly targets teenagers
aged from 12y/o to 17-18y/o.
