About Laurence:
Laurence’s love of nature began at an early age, living in the South of France between the picturesque Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. As an adult, she traveled the world as a backpacker while making ends meet working in the tourism industry. After meeting her husband on a trip to Guatemala, they settled in Bangkok, Thailand with their young daughter. She loved all the things the big city offered, but after a while, she realized something was missing from her life: access to nature.
To fill the void, she started practicing yoga and mindfulness meditation as well as participating in retreats and workshops. After the birth of her second child, she discovered that mindful walks outdoors in parks helped her relax and cope with her nature deficit. She invited friends to join her one day and that’s how her practice started.
Now living in the United States, Laurence is a Certified Forest and Therapy Guide with the ANFT offering Nature and Forest Therapy walks in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. She would love to help you gently deepen your relationship with nature and in the process help you reconnect with yourself.
