A1.1 INTENSIVE - IN PERSON
General
This class is designed for students who have never studied French before. A1.1 is your first step into the French language and French-speaking cultures.
Pace: Four times a week
By the end of the A1.1 level, students will be able to:
- Greet others and respond appropriately in informal and formal situations
- Introduce themselves and provide basic personal information (name, age, nationality, profession)
- Use tu and vous correctly depending on the context
- Spell their name and understand basic spelling
- Give and understand numbers and simple numerical information
- Ask for help and interact in simple classroom situations
- Identify well-known places in Paris and France
- Recognize basic vocabulary related to professions and places in a city
- Develop initial awareness of French-speaking cultures and everyday customs

Learn French Faster A1.1-ONLINE
General
This class is designed for students who have never studied French before. A1.1 is your first step into the French language and French-speaking cultures.
Pace: Twice a week
By the end of the A1.1 level, students will be able to:
- Greet others and respond appropriately in informal and formal situations
- Introduce themselves and provide basic personal information (name, age, nationality, profession)
- Use tu and vous correctly depending on the context
- Spell their name and understand basic spelling
- Give and understand numbers and simple numerical information

A1.2-IN PERSON
General
This course is designed for students who have completed A1.1 or have an equivalent basic knowledge of French.
By the end of the A1.2 level, students will be able to:
- Ask and answer simple questions about countries, places, and origins
- Describe a country or destination using basic characteristics
- Talk about festivals, traditions, tourism, and travel activities
- Express likes, dislikes, and preferences using common verbs
- Describe their family and explain basic family relationships
- Provide personal information such as nationality and marital status
- Use simple descriptive language to talk about people and places
- Form and understand basic questions using common interrogative words
- Communicate using simple connectors (et, ou, mais) to link ideas
- Develop cultural awareness of French-speaking countries and traditions
