The TEF-Québec (Test d’Évaluation de Français) is an official French language proficiency test administered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Île-de-France. It is intended for immigration applicants to Québec who must demonstrate their level of French as part of their selection process. The exam evaluates listening comprehension and oral expression (and optionally reading and writing), with results aligned to the CEFR levels from A1 to C2, as required by Québec immigration authorities.
