The TEF Études (Test d’Évaluation de Français) is an official French language proficiency test administered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Île-de-France. It is designed for international students who need to prove their level of French for admission to French-speaking higher education institutions. The exam assesses listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written expression, and oral expression, with results aligned to the CEFR levels from A1 to C2.
