The TEF-IRN (Test d’Évaluation de Français – Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité) is an official French language test administered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Île-de-France. It is designed for non-native speakers who need to prove their French proficiency for residence permits, integration procedures, or French nationality applications in France. The exam assesses listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written expression, and oral expression, with results aligned to the CEFR levels from A1 to B2.
