Conference with author Fiston Mujila – October 2nd
Alliance Française de Dallas, in partnership with Richland College and Dallas Accueil, is organizing a reading by author Fiston Mujila.
Mujila was born in 1981 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Lumumbashi). His writing has been awarded the Gold Medal at the 6th Jeux de la Francophonie in Beirut (2009) and the Best Text for Theatre in Mainz (2010). Mujila, along with other francophone authors, is currently on tour in Texas.
The author will be reading an excerpt from his upcoming book Tram 83. This novel received the French Voices Award in 2014 and will be published in September 2015.
During the tour, Fiston Mujila will be assisted by his translator Roland Glasser.

The Conference will begin at 11am followed by a cocktail at 12pm.
